Recipe for Mint Chocolate Candy at Home

Mint Chocolate candy is the taste of something that is too minty and cool like mint or spearmint, it is a good combination. Mint gives stuff a nice spark and makes it all smell new, taste new, and look fresh. Here is the recipe for the mint chocolate candy that you can easily make at your home. So here it is :

Mix the powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and melted butter together in a large bowl. It’ll be dense with the mixture. I really like using my hands after the dough comes together to continue kneading the dough in the bowl or in my hands (it’s too sticky for the counter) until the dough becomes shiny and almost gummy.

Divide the powdered sugar, milk, and butter mixture into two bowls if you want to make use of both mint extract and peppermint extract. Then add one to the mint extract, and another to the peppermint. Mix until they have completely applied the flavoring. I start with 1⁄4 teaspoon of the extract and add, if necessary, from there! You can use up to four times the quantity specified. At this time, if needed, you can also add food coloring. For the mint mints (ha), I use green and for the peppermint flavored mints, red! Feel free to mix it in the bowl with your hands again … it’s a lot simpler than trying to use a spoon.

Be careful how much you mix, so it can be overly sticky because of the heat from your hands.

Scoop or roll into balls, put on a wax or parchment paper-lined baking sheet, and freeze until firm. I used my cookie scoop as always, but feel free to roll free-hand, too! Dip in the molten chocolate after it has hardened (see note below) and freeze until the chocolate has hardened. Plastic baggies should be kept in the freezer.

Here’s your favorite fail-proof dipping technique: Bring the chocolate into a measuring cup of microwave-safe glass and melt as per package instructions. I used a measuring cup with 2 cups. I like the width of the measuring cup, so you can immerse the mint in the chocolate absolutely. You could use a spoon to spoon chocolate over the top of the chocolate is too shallow. Using a fork to pick out the chocolate-covered mint. To shake off the excess chocolate, strike the side of the measuring cup with a fork. To slip the mint of the fork, put it back on the baking sheet, and use the spoon.

In case you are looking for good quality mint chocolate candy made with mint and chocolate then I would recommend you to buy Mint Chocon from the local stores or online.
