Early-Stage Groundbreaking Cancer Research Program Technology Advancement

The National Institutes of Health also referred to as the NIH, is a workplace within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that is essentially responsible for the pursuit and financial support of biomedical and health-related research by the majority of nations.

“Seek fundamental knowledge on the topic of the character and behavior of living systems and therefore the applying of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce the burdens of illness and disability. ‚ÄúSeek essential knowledge on the character and behavior of living systems and thus apply that knowledge to improve health, extend life, and reduce the burden of disease and disability.

The National Institutes of Health has partnered with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in conjunction with this mission to create an Early-Stage Creative Technology Creation for Cancer Research Program, whereby both agencies pursue grant applications expressing their intention to conduct funded exploratory research projects that specialize in starting and developing unique, cutting-edge technology projects.

The research studies covered by this program may also specialize in emerging technology, which means the kind of technology that has just been started or discovered and has not yet been tested or evaluated. In this respect, the NIH and NCI want these innovations to be explored by applicants and investigators, probably to make them stronger and easier.

In that regard, the program organizers require the applicants to draw their attention to research studies with a high degree of technological invention couples with a reasonably substantial potential to have a noticeable effect and impact on current and future cancer molecular and cellular bases investigations.

If successful, the main objective of these initiatives would be to dramatically enhance cancer biology, including the prevention, treatment, detection, control, and epidemiology of the disease.

In order to kick-start the projects and pursue them until completion, the National Institutes of Health and thus the National Cancer Institute will administer funds in the amount of $5,000,000.

The affiliations and institutions that will be prepared to apply proposals and applications under this program shall be as follows:

A) Training institutions such as public/state-controlled upper education institutions and private upper education institutions

B) Institutions serving Hispanics, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribally Operated Universities and Universities (TCCUs), Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Establishments of Alaska

(c) Non-profit organizations apart from higher education establishments

D) For-Profit entities such as small businesses

E) State Governments, County Governments, Governments of the City or Township, Special District Governments, Federally Recognized Indian/Native American Tribal Governments, and Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Aside from Federally Recognized)

F) Independent College Districts, Housing Project Authorities/Indian Housing Authorities, Faith-based or Community-based Groups, Native American Tribal Organizations (other than Federally Recognized Tribal Executives), and Regional Organizations.

Audi is ready this year to build a robust display that will make all fans buzz, particularly new and used Audi owners. The local Audi dealer is not only exposed to new and exciting models, but there are also massive company-wide expansion plans.

Allows Big Waves by Audi Link

Audi’s A8 luxury sedan is fitted with the Audi connect infotainment system (providing music, video, and Wi-Fi without distracting the driver), and cars with this Audi connect system are the only cars in the world that currently have broadband access, winning the first-ever “Connected Car of the Year” award by Connected World magazine.

Google Earth maps in its onboard navigation system, real-time information from Sirius Traffic, Google Local search integration for travel destination information, and a rolling Wi-Fi hotspot that allows up to eight wireless devices to be accessed simultaneously are some of the exciting features of this process. In addition to the A8, this Audi system is now available in other versions, for all of you future Audi drivers to bear in mind. Visit an Audi dealer area for more knowledge about this revolutionary device.

Technology for Traffic Jam Assistant Unveiled

The holdup Assistant is an exciting new Magento B2B development that Audi is coming up with for your used Audi. Instead of continuously creeping and accelerating in intense hours of traffic, the idea behind this technology is that you can sit back and let your used Audi drive for you.

This high-tech system, which Audi presented at the International Consumer Electronics Show in January, leading the NY Times to announce “Audi Mounts Technology Blitz at C.E.S.”, is based on the adaptive control of Audi that helps to steer the car and autonomously accelerate and brake up to 37 miles per hour in slow traffic. What is also noteworthy about the Holdup Assistant is that it uses a complex system of radar sensors, ultrasonic sensors, and wide-angle video to track not just the car ahead, but also the cars ahead of it.

While Audi’s holdup Assistant is not yet available via an Audi dealer, it is a creation that they are doing in the next few years to be available on the A8.

Audi Invests in machinery and manpower

With these technical advances and more, Audi is totally invested in staying on top of its game and remaining at the forefront. Last year, the carmaker brought in 3,500 new workers, smashing their own hiring record. Audi aims to add another 1,200 auto experts to the team this coming year. Between now and 2016, there is also a drive to take an extra cash role in expanding the company’s facilities with a new land, equipment, and plant acquisitions. There is also a heavy emphasis on investing in new products and technology, such as electric and hybrid powertrains.

It is a great time to be a replacement or used Audi owner, or even a potential Audi driver, with all of these innovations on the rise, so keep an eye on Audi’s latest developments in the coming years.
